Death, in the process of unbecoming, is not about the body.

It’s the quiet unraveling of identity. It’s the endings that don’t come with funerals or condolences.

Just the soft knowing that something within you has run its course.

We often think of death as an event, but in truth, it’s a process: a slow separation between what was & what’s next. Sometimes it’s gentle, like a candle burning out. Sometimes it’s violent, like a storm tearing through the home you built. Either way, something inside you knows:

it’s time.
