I’ve made it a practice to name at least one small victory every day.
Well, most days.
And not the big, shiny milestones we usually point to, but the ones that are easy to overlook. Finishing an edit I kept putting off. Getting out of bed on a heavy morning. Giving myself grace instead of criticism (this is my favorite small victory). These tiny wins have grounded me in seasons when progress felt slow or hard to see.
I share that because so many of us underestimate the quiet ways we keep showing up. We assume that if something isn’t dramatic or life-changing, it doesn’t count. But it does. Every small effort holds weight.
Don’t discount any of your efforts, even those that are “small.”
Your efforts eventually compile, & what begins as something miniscule can lead to something profound. If you’re in a season where you can’t quite see how far you’ve come, this letter is for you.
